Additional cardholders: managing your account with the Jaja app

Setting up access to the app for additional cardholders

Additional cardholders can now stay on top of their spending using the Jaja Credit Card app. View recent purchases, verify online transactions, and search through spending history, all with a few taps.

It couldn’t be easier to get started. Once the contact details for any additional cardholders have been confirmed by the primary cardholder, they’ll simply have to download the app and give us a few details from their card to start managing their account, whenever, wherever. 

Primary cardholder: confirming your additional cardholder details

If you’re a primary cardholder, and you have additional cardholders listed on your account, you’ll have to confirm their contact details before they can log in to the app for the first time.

To confirm your additional cardholder details, simply open the app and tap on the message asking you to update your additional cardholder details in the Home tab. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions below.

1 – Head to Manage cards

Log in to your Jaja app and head to the Card tab. Once there, select Manage cards.

2 – View your additional cardholders

You’ll see a list of your cards and any additional cardholders on your account. You may notice the option to Update details for additional cardholders. This means that the contact details for the additional cardholder haven’t yet been confirmed.

3 – Confirm or update details

When you select the option to Update details, you’ll then be asked to enter the phone number of your additional cardholder.

4 – Share the link with your additional cardholder

Once your additional cardholder’s phone number has been confirmed or submitted, you’ll have the option to share a link to download the Jaja Credit Card app with your additional cardholder.

You can send this link using SMS, WhatsApp, Email etc. You’ll also be able to find the link to download the app in the Manage cards section in the Card tab.

Additional cardholder: log in to the Jaja app

If you’re an additional cardholder, and your primary cardholder has completed the steps above, you’re ready to log in. We’ll just need a few details from you, so make sure you have your card ready.

Before you begin, make sure you’ve downloaded the Jaja Credit Card app. You can download the app by using the link that your primary cardholder might have shared, or by searching ‘Jaja Credit Card’ in the App Store or Google Play.

1 – Open the Jaja Credit Card app

Open the app and select Login at the bottom of the page.

2 – Enter your mobile number and verification code

You’ll then be asked to enter your mobile number so we can send you a 4-digit verification code via SMS.

Confirm your verification code by entering it into the app. You should never share this code with anyone else.

3 – Confirm your card details

Once your code is accepted, you’ll then be asked for some details from your card, so make sure you have that to hand.

4 – Create a secure passcode and password

To secure access to your mobile app, you’ll be asked to create a 5-digit passcode which you’ll use to log in next time. You’ll also need to create a password.

5 – Log in to the app

You can now log in to the app for the first time using the passcode you just created.
