Francesco was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Jaja Finance in 2022, where he leads a team of professionals overseeing funding, accounting, finance operations, and financial planning & analysis. He initially joined Jaja as Head of Capital Markets, managing the company’s funding needs including its warehouse financing.
Before Jaja, Francesco was at Hoist Finance from 2019 to 2022, where he structured the first investment-grade rated securitisation backed by unsecured NPLs and developed a EUR 1bn Pan-European Securitisation Programme, serving as Head of Unsecured Investments and later Head of Investments. Prior to Hoist, Francesco was a Credit Analyst at Moody’s, assigning ratings to bonds backed by various assets across Europe ranging from prime to non-conforming mortgages, auto loans and non-performing loans.
He began his career at Société Générale in Milan, later working in Paris and London first on structured products marketing and later in financial institution coverage. Francesco holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance from Bocconi University.
